Windows 10 recovery of deleted files

Windows 10 offers several ways to restore deleted files. Here are some of them:

1. Trash: By default, all deleted files are moved to the trash, where they are stored until you completely delete them or empty the trash. To restore files from the recycle bin to the desktop or to the original location, simply open it (by right-clicking on the Recycle Bin icon on the desktop) and select the items to restore.

2. File History: Windows 10 has a backup feature called “File History” that automatically saves copies of all changes to your document every time you save. If you accidentally deleted or lost your last modified file, you can use this function to quickly restore it.
– Find a folder with data (documents), the content of which requires the possibility to be accessible after errors;
– Having selected this folder by clicking the left mouse button, we call up the context menu;
- Among the commands, find "Revert to the previous version" and select it;
– In the "Recovery of previous versions of files or folders" panel that opens, find the desired date when the data was current. Having selected this point in time, we call up the context menu by clicking the left mouse button.
- Among the commands, we find "Open" to simply view the contents of the file (folder) at this point in the development of events; or
"Copy" to save data from the derived state.

3. Third-party software: If you cannot find the deleted file in the Recycle Bin or use the File History function, you can use third-party software to recover data. Some of these programs are Recuva, EaseUS Data Recovery Wizard, and Disk Drill.

However, remember that the earlier the recovery process begins after deleting the file, the greater the chances of its successful completion!
