Restores a deleted folder from the hard disk

Restoring a deleted folder from a hard drive can be quite a complicated process, but there are several methods that you can try.

1. Check the recycle bin: If you accidentally deleted a folder and it is still in the recycle bin of your computer or desktop (Recycle Bin), just open it and find the desired folder. Select it with the right mouse button and select "restore".

2. Use data recovery software: There are various data recovery programs, such as Recuva, EaseUS Data Recovery Wizard, or Disk Drill. By installing one of these programs on your data storage device (hard disk), after deleting a file/folder, it will be possible to scan this device to find lost files/folders.

3. Windows/MacOS/Linux system capabilities: The OS has the function of backing up file systems – File History (Windows 10), Time Machine (Mac OS X) or rsync/rsnapshot/linux backup tools (Linux). These are tools for automatically creating backup copies of all file changes on your computer over time.
To use these functions, you will need to check the system settings and find backup copies of the file system. If the automatic creation of backup copies is set or if you did it yourself before deleting the folder, then there is a chance to get it back.

4. Seek the help of a specialist: In cases with more complex problems (physical breakdown of the hard disk), it may be necessary to contact a data recovery professional to obtain maximum support and to avoid damaged information due to inept actions.

Important note: When deleting a file/folder, it is always better to stop the computer as soon as possible after realizing the erroneous deletion - the more time passes after this moment, the greater the chance of overwriting fragmented data on your FS.
