Restoring remote Android files
Restoring deleted files on Android devices can be a difficult task, but in some cases it is possible. Here are some methods that can help:
1. Checking the trash: If you have just deleted files from your Android device and they were moved to the Trash or the Archive of the Files application (File Manager), there is a chance to get them back.
2. Using specialized programs for data recovery: There are various third-party applications, such as DiskDigger Photo Recovery or Dumpster Recycle Bin, which allow you to scan your device's memory for deleted files and then extract these data.
3. Turning to cloud backup services: If you used Google Drive or another similar service to create a backup copy of your data before deleting the file(s), you can check there - it may still be available through this service.
4. Using the ADB (Android Debug Bridge) command: This is a longer process that requires a Windows/Mac/Linux computer, as well as familiarization with the following instructions:
a) Make sure you have ADB drivers for your Android device.
b) Connect your device to the computer via USB and enable USB debugging on the phone/tablet (located in Settings -> About software -> For developers).
c) Start a command line or terminal on the computer and execute the following command: adb shell
d) Enter the following command: su rm /data/data/com.android.providers.media/databases/*.db*
This will delete the media database from your device.
e) After that, reboot your Android device.
It is important to remember that the chances of successful file recovery depend on several factors, such as the time that has passed since the file(s) was deleted, the memory usage after its deletion, and other complicating factors. The faster you apply the methods described above, the greater the probability of success
