Recovery of a micro SD flash drive
Restoring a micro SD flash drive can be a somewhat complicated process, but in most cases you can try the following steps:
1. Check the physical condition of the card: make sure that the contacts on the card and in the connector are clean and not damaged.
2. Use a second adapter or reader to check: sometimes the problem may be related to the adapter or card reader itself.
3. Insert the card into another device: if your computer does not recognize the flash drive, try using it on other devices (for example, a phone).
4. Use data recovery software: there are special programs (e.g. Recuva) that will help you recover deleted files from erased or damaged disks.
5. Formatting through the Windows command line:
– Press Win + R and open the “Run” window.
– Type cmd.exe.
– Call the command line on behalf of the administrator.
– Type diskpart and press Enter.
– Then follow the following commands in sequence:
– list disk (will show a list of all disks in the system)
– select disk X (where X is the number of your flash drive from the list, usually this is the last or only item)
- clean
Attention: execution of this command will delete all data from the selected disk.
6. If nothing has helped and you are still facing problems, it is possible that the micro SD flash drive is physically damaged and needs to be replaced.
In any case, it is recommended to create a backup copy of the data before starting the recovery process.
