Restoring data from the acronis hard drive

Acronis True Image is a data backup and recovery software that can also be used to recover data from a hard drive.

To perform the data recovery process using Acronis True Image, follow these steps:

1. Make sure you have a previously created full or incremental backup of your hard drive on a reliable storage (for example, another hard drive or a remote server).

2. Boot the computer from the bootable Acronis True Image flash drive or connect it via a USB port.

3. At startup, select the "Recovery operating system" option.

4. Select the type of archive: local (located on the same machine) or remote (network). If you use a local folder as backup storage, unmount it in advance

5. Enter the access data to the archive file - user name and password if they were set when saving the file

6. Select the desired partition/disk that needs to be returned

7. Indicates the point in time to which the restoration will be carried out

8. Click “Next” and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the data recovery process.

It is important to note that Acronis True Image offers various options for data recovery: you can choose full or partial recovery of the disk or file system. Also, keep in mind that when using backup software, there is always some risk of data loss, so it is highly desirable to have several copies of your backups on different storages.
