Hard disk recovery

Hard disk recovery is a complex and technically demanding task. If your hard drive stopped working or you lost access to the data on it, there are several recovery methods.

1. Check the connection: Make sure that all cables are correctly connected both by themselves and between system components (for example, SATA cable). Use another SATA port or replace the cable to check.

2. Features of the operating system: Certain operating systems have tools for detecting problematic data storage devices and offer to solve these problems automatically through the software Disk Utility (Disk Utility) in macOS or CHKDSK in the Windows command line.

3. Software from third-party developers: There are specialized software products from third-party manufacturers that will help determine the condition of your HDD/SSD, as well as allow scanning of damaged MBR/GPT file tables or file blocks themselves

4. Seek the help of an expert: If the data is very valuable to you and you cannot solve the problem yourself, it is better to turn to professionals. Data recovery specialists have specialized equipment and experience working with complex cases of hard disk damage.

It is important to remember that a strange sound (click or creak) that your HDD/SSD makes is a sign of physical damage. In such cases, independent requests can only aggravate the situation.
