Recovery of a raw flash drive
Restoring a RAW flash drive can be quite a difficult task, but there are several methods that you can try.
1. Using a data recovery program: There are many specialized software tools, such as TestDisk or EaseUS Data Recovery Wizard Free Edition, which will help you recover data from a RAW flash drive. Just be sure to familiarize yourself with all their functions and capabilities before using these programs.
2. Formatting the flash drive: If you have no valuable data on your RAW flash drive or you have already saved everything somewhere else, formatting can solve the problem. Open My Computer (Windows) or Finder (Mac), find your USB flash drive and right-click on it and select the “Format” option. Pay special attention to the file system when formatting - FAT32 provides better compatibility between different operating systems.
3. Check the status of the hard disk through the Windows 10/8/7/Vista / XP Disk Manager:
a) Press Win + R simultaneously -> Type “diskmgmt.msc” -> Press Enter.
b) Check whether your flash drive is displayed in the disk list. If it is there and marked as RAW or uninitialized, you can try to restore it to a working state using disk management tools.
4. Using the command line: In Windows, you can use the command line to perform some operations to restore data on a RAW flash drive:
a) Open the Command Prompt (for example, through the Start menu).
b) Type chkdsk [drive_letter]: /f and press Enter (replace “[drive_letter]” with the appropriate letter of your USB drive). This command checks the file system for errors and corrects the problems found.
5. Seek professional help: If all the previous methods do not work or if the data is very valuable to you, it is better to
