Recovery of raw files

Restoring files in RAW format can be a difficult task, as this format represents raw image or video data without processing and compression. However, there are several ways to try to recover lost or deleted RAW files.

1. Use data recovery software: There are many software tools that help you find and recover deleted or damaged files on your data storage device (hard disk, flash cards). Some of the most popular programs for Windows are Recuva, EaseUS Data Recovery Wizard, and Disk Drill; and for Mac – PhotoRec and TestDisk.

2. Turn to professional data reconstruction services: If you are faced with difficult cases of RAW file loss (as a result of damaged hard disk), then it is best to seek help from data reconstruction professionals. It can be quite expensive, but they have had some success when working with this type of problem.

3. Check backups: If you have created a system of automatic backup or you made manual backups, check their availability. If you have an up-to-date copy of the RAW file, you can easily restore it.

It is important to remember that the faster a file recovery request is made after the deletion or loss of RAW format data, the greater the chances of returning the data without damage.
