Raw flash drive restore

If your flash drive has become inoperable or unreadable, there are several ways to try to restore it:

1. Check the connection: Make sure the flash drive is correctly connected to the computer and the USB port.

2. Use another USB port or computer: Perhaps the problem is related to a specific USB port on your computer. Try using a different port or check the operation of the flash drive on another computer.

3. Use software to restore data: There are various free programs to restore data from damaged storage devices (e.g. Recuva). Download such an application from the Internet and follow the instructions for its use.

4. Format the flash drive through the command line:
– Press Win + R to open the “Invoke Executor” window
– Type cmd and press Enter
– You should see something like C:\Users\YourUsername>
Now you can format the disk using this code format /FS:FAT32 X:, where X is the disk device number.

5. Seek help from professionals: If none of the above works, your flash drive may have serious damage. In this case, it is better to contact a specialized data recovery center.

It is important to note that these methods can be useful for most problems with a standard flash drive. However, if the device has been subject to significant damage or is something more complex (for example, an SSD), it is recommended to seek help from professionals.
