Raw disk restore

Recovering data from a RAW disk can be a difficult task, but there are several methods that you can try.

1. Use data recovery software: There are many specialized software tools for data recovery from a damaged or RAW drive. Some of the most popular and effective tools include EaseUS Data Recovery Wizard, Recuva, and TestDisk. Make sure you select the software version that corresponds to your operating system (Windows or Mac).

2. Disk verification through the command line: If the device is displayed as RAW on a Windows computer, you can use the CHKDSK command line to verify the integrity of the system file on the disk:

– Open Command Prompt (cmd) as administrator.
– Type “chkdsk [drive letter]: /f” without quotes and replace “[drive letter]” with the drive letter of your hard drive.
– Let the process finish completely.

3. Formatting the disk: If all other methods did not help to fix the RAW format error on your hard disk, the last step may be formatting the disk. However, keep in mind that this will delete all data from your drive beyond recovery.

It is important to note that before performing any operations to restore data or format the hard disk, it is recommended to create a full backup of it on another reliable data carrier to prevent the loss of valuable files.
