Mac file recovery
Recovering files on a Mac can be a fairly simple process if you follow a few basic steps. Here are some file recovery methods on Mac computers:
1. Check the Trash: If you accidentally deleted some files or folders, the first place to check is your Trash. Just open it and see if there are any deleted items.
2. Use the “Undo” function: Many Mac applications have an “Undo” function (usually accessed by pressing Command + Z). This option allows you to restore the last action and can help restore deleted or changed data.
3. Time Machine: If you have a regular backup using Apple's Time Machine software, you can easily perform a full hardware transfer of data to a specific point in time before the file is lost (automatic backup function).
4. macOS Disk Utility: You can open this program from Launchpad -> Other -> Disk Utility (Другое->Утилита Диск). Select the partition/disk where the necessary information was located and click the "Restore" button. The utility will try to restore data on the selected partition.
5. Data recovery software: If you don't use Time Machine or other backups, you can use special software to recover deleted files from a Mac computer. Some of these applications are Disk Drill, Data Rescue 6 and EaseUS Data Recovery Wizard for Mac.
Do not forget that the sooner you start the process of restoring the file after losing it, the more chances you have to return it without damage.
