Recovery of hdd data
Recovering data from a hard disk (HDD) can be a difficult process, but in most cases it is possible to return lost files. Here are some steps you can take to request data recovery:
1. Check the connection and cables: Make sure the HDD is properly connected to the computer or use a second SATA/USB port.
2. Use data recovery software: There are many free and commercial software tools for recovering deleted files from the HDD. Some of the most popular are Recuva, EaseUS Data Recovery Wizard, and TestDisk.
3. Seek help from HDD repair specialists: If you do not have experience working with the software or if the data is very valuable, it is best to contact HDD repair professionals.
4. Divide the surface into different parts using the Windows error scanner CHKDSK /R: This can take a long time, especially if your CDT is still running.
5. Protect against records with new data: When you lose any data, the old information is not deleted immediately. However, if you start writing new data to the HDD, it may overwrite the old information and complicate data recovery.
It is important to remember that the success of recovery depends on many factors: disk condition, reasons for data loss, etc. Therefore, the results may be different for each case.
