Google Drive data recovery

Restoring data on Google Drive can be a fairly simple process if a file has been accidentally deleted or changed. Here are some steps to recover data:

1. Go to the "Cart" page in your Google Drive account.
2. Scroll through the list of files and find the ones you would like to restore.
3. Select the desired files and click the "Restore" button. The file will be moved back to your drive.

If the desired file is not displayed in the basket, there is another possibility to return it:

1. On the main page of Google Drive, go to the "Settings" section.
2. Open the "Manage file location" menu item.
3. Select the option "Show hidden elements"
4. Find the required object among the archived ones

Also refer to the functions of automatic backup (if they are installed) - this helps to avoid loss of information when deleting or damaging a file.

A very useful feature of Google Documents is the saving of all previous versions of each document created/changed by users: to restore the previous version of the file, open it and go to the menu item "File" -> "Document version". Then select the desired version from the list.

If the file was deleted more than 30 days ago or you cannot find it in the Recycle Bin or archived items, you may need to contact Google Support for help.
