Get the data from the hard drive

Data can be retrieved from the hard drive in several ways, depending on the cause of the data loss.

1. Check the connection and cables: Make sure that your hard drive is properly connected to the computer or laptop. Sometimes a bad connection can cause the storage device to malfunction.

2. Use software tools for data recovery: There are many free and commercial software products for recovering deleted files from a damaged or formatted hard drive (for example, Recuva). They scan physical partitions for traces left after file deletion and help to recover this data.

3. Seek help from HDD/SSD repair professionals: If you are experiencing serious hardware problems with your hard drive (it spins endlessly, makes strange noises), it is best to contact a repair specialist face-to-face or through online services.

4. Use a Live CD or USB: If your hard drive does not boot, you can try using the operating system from an external drive (Live CD or USB). This will allow you to access the files on the damaged disk and copy them to another medium.

It is important to remember that in case of data loss, it is recommended to take measures as soon as possible to minimize possible consequences.
