Formatting a raw flash drive

Formatting a raw flash drive can be somewhat more complicated than normal formatting. Raw means that the file system on the flash drive is damaged or missing.

Here are some steps to restore and format a raw flash drive:

1. Connect your flash drive to the computer.
2. Open the "Device Manager" (you can do this through the "Start" menu, then select the "Computer Management" item).
3. In the "Disk devices" section, find your flash card.
4. Right-click on its icon and select the "Disk Initialization" option.
5. Select the partition table type MBR (Master Boot Record) or GPT (GUID Partition Table), depending on the requirements of your operating system, as well as the size of the memory card
6. Click OK to confirm the changes

7 Go to Disk Management and select your memory card on the right side of the window
8 Right-click on the area of unallocated memory, then create new space on the disk

9 Select the size of the installation space or leave it maximally for the installation of all the dimensions of the map

10 Select the partition type (NTFS, FAT32, etc.) depending on your preference or operating system requirements.

11. Click "Continue" to create a new section.
12 After that, you should see your flash drive again available for use without raw file system errors.

It is important to remember that formatting will delete all data on the flash drive. If there are any valuable files on it, be sure to save them before starting the formatting process.

It is also worth checking the condition of the flash drive itself - it may be damaged or defective. In this case, it may be necessary to replace the device
