Excel file recovery

Excel is a spreadsheet program developed by Microsoft. Sometimes Excel files can be damaged or deleted by mistake, which can cause the loss of important information.

If you are faced with the problem of restoring an Excel file, there are several ways to solve this problem:

1. Check the "Trash" folder on your computer: perhaps the file was accidentally deleted and it can be returned from the trash.
2. Use the automatic saving function (AutoSave): if you have activated this function in the Excel program, it will periodically create copies of working documents in their temporary folders.
3. Open an inaccessible file using other methods:
– Try to open the ego through the “Open” -> “View all versions” menu.
– If the file has the extension .xlsx.backup or .xls.backup after the main file name (filename.xlsx), change the extension back to .xlsx or .xls, respectively, and try to open it.
4. The possibility of using data integrity checking tools using the Open and Repair / Recover Workbook commands:
a) Go to File -> Open.
b) Select the desired file and click on the arrow next to the "Open" button.
c) In the menu that appears, select one of the following commands: Open and Repair, Recover Text from Any File.
5. Use specialized programs for data recovery, such as Disk Drill or Recuva.

If you cannot restore your data yourself, contact professional IT specialists or Microsoft service centers for help.
