Restoring data from hdd

Recovering data from a hard disk (HDD) can be a difficult task, but in most cases it is possible to return lost files. Here are some steps you can take to request data recovery:

1. The first and most important rule is to stop using a damaged HDD as soon as you notice data loss. Further work on the computer or recording of new files on the disk can overwrite deleted data.

2. If your HDD is still functioning and access to data is limited or completely absent, try connecting it to another computer or use a specialized USB-SATA adapter/connector to connect through the USB port.

3. Use data recovery software such as EaseUS Data Recovery Wizard, Recuva or Disk Drill Pro to scan the damaged HDD and search for deleted files.

4. Select the desired section (partition), which contained the lost information, to start the process of scanning the file with the system of this section.

5. At the end of the scan, the program should display a list of found candidate files for recovery. Review them to make sure the necessary files are present.

6. Select the necessary files or folders for recovery and select the destination (not on the damaged HDD) where the data will be saved.

7. If the software for some reason cannot scan or retrieve lost data from your hard drive, the next step is to use the services of professional data recovery companies.

It is important to remember that the success of the operation depends on the condition of the HDD itself - if it has physical damage (it hears strange sounds when it is working), the probability of complete success is significantly reduced.
