Restoring data from a flash card

Restoring data from a flash card may be necessary if you accidentally deleted files or formatted the card. Here are some steps you can take to recover lost data:

1. First of all, stop using the flash card and do not write new information on it. This will help to avoid further damage to already deleted files.

2. Connect your flash card to the computer using a USB adapter or card reader.

3. Use a specialized software tool to recover data from flash drives (data recovery software). Some popular programs of this kind are: Recuva, EaseUS Data Recovery Wizard and Disk Drill.

4. Run the selected program and follow the instructions to scan your flash drive for the detection of deleted files.

5. View the scan results and find the data you need.

6. If the program successfully detects lost files - save these data on another drive (not the same flash card) to avoid the possibility of overwriting the file

7. If the first program is ineffective, try other data recovery programs. Perhaps one of them will do better.

8. If all of the above methods did not help and the data is extremely important, seek professional help from data recovery specialists. They can use more complex hardware or software to solve the problem.

In any case, keep in mind that the success of the operation may depend on the condition of the flash card and the degree of damage to it. Therefore, always make a backup copy of your files on another device or store a duplicate of the information on a computer/server/cloud storage
