Restoring data from a microSD memory card

Data recovery from a microSD memory card may be necessary in case of file deletion or loss, card formatting, system file corruption, and other problems. Here are some steps to recover data:

1. Stop using the card: If you discover data loss on the microSD memory card, stop using it as soon as possible. Do not write new data to this card until the recovery is complete.

2. Use a specialized software tool: There are many software tools for data recovery from SD cards (for example, Recuva). Make sure that the selected program supports work with broken or damaged SD cards.

3. Connect your microSD to the computer: To start the process of extracting information, you need to connect your microSD with an adapter or through the USB connector of the flash drive itself

4. Run the software for searching and editing documents: Reject the standard Windows Explorer, as it has limited application capabilities.

5. Selection of all found elements after the completion of the operating system: After completing the search and editing of documents, select all found elements that were deleted from the memory card.

6. Restoring all files: The selected software tool should allow you to select the files you want to restore. Specify the location where the extracted data should be saved.

7. Save the copied data on another drive: In order not to lose this data again or damage the existing data, it is best to create a separate folder where only the results of the work will be stored

In cases of more serious damage to the SD card, it may be useful to seek help from professional data recovery services.
