Data recovery
Data recovery is the process of restoring lost or damaged information on a computer, laptop, hard drive or other electronic devices. Data loss can be caused by various reasons: accidental file deletion, disk formatting, hardware failures (for example, hard disk failure), exposure to malicious software, etc.
There are several methods for carrying out the data recovery process:
1. Use of special programs: There are many software tools for independent performance of operations to restore lost files and folders. Some of these applications are free (Recuva), while others are commercial products (EaseUS Data Recovery Wizard).
2. Contacting data repair/recovery services: If you do not have sufficient experience working with specialized software or your task is difficult work with a physically damaged drive, it would be best to seek help from an expert technician or a specialized company engaged in data recovery.
3. Backup: To avoid data loss and simplify the recovery process, it is recommended to create regular backup copies of all your files on reliable storage (for example, a cloud service or external hard drives).
It is important to remember that the sooner you start the recovery procedure after an incident with the data, the more likely the successful result will be the operation to exclude the possibility of overwriting information with a new record in place of old deleted/lost files.
