Restoring 1s from backup

Restoring the 1C database from a backup copy may be necessary in case of failure or data loss. To perform this operation, follow the instructions below:

Step 1: Preparation

Before starting the process, make sure that you have access to the latest version of the backup copy of your database.

Step 2: Creating a new information base

Open the "Configurator" program and create a new empty database (File -> New).

Select the type of configuration for your application and enter a name for the new information base.

Then save the changes and close the Configurator.

Step 3: Restore from backup

Open the "Server Administration" software complex.

On the administration page, select the section "IB - Information about Databases"

Click the "Add" button to add connection settings
Specify the connection parameters:
– DBMS type – Microsoft SQL Server;
– DB server address — MSSQL server address;
– User name/password — MS SQL login/password;

After downloading the settings, a new entry will appear in the list of information bases.

Select the created backup copy and press the "Restore" button.

Step 4: Check

After the restore process is complete, check the operation of your database. Verify that all data was successfully imported from the backup.
